His career spans through Akintola Williams & Co to 7Up Bottling Co Plc, Diamond Breweries Ltd and Nigeria Breweries Plc.

He has attended many training in management courses both locally and internationally. He has undergo a certification program for non-executive directors of microfinance Banks as well as Equipment Leasing in Nigeria, workshops in Venture Capital, Corporate Finance,Computer Audits adn Grains Sufficiency in Nigeria.
He is a knowledge based professional in Financial Repoting Standard-IFRS and currently the Managing Partner of Onyekwelu Nwanna & Co a firm of Chartered Accountant. He is the Financial Secretary of CAFAN Enugu State and Past Vice President Enugu Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines & Agriculture. He is a Knight of the Diocese of as well as a Jerusalem Pilgrim.
