A directorship position is reserved for the town union – The Nibo Union. This position is currently vacant. In the past, it was automatically filled by the President General of the Union. However with a hindsight, the board is of the view that the union should henceforth elect a representative to the board who would bring acceptable attributes as he or she seats as a member of the board of director. It is the belief of the board that this will shield the bank from the local politics of the union. This opinion of the board would be made known to the union for acceptance.
